Folding Survey Stand
A compact three-point stand that packs flat and opens without loose hardware.
One motion, three legs
The stand uses a central sliding collar to open all three legs together. The first full-size model proved the geometry but also revealed too much play at the center joint.
Work is paused while I test a laminated hub that can be made accurately with ordinary shop tools.
