Cardboard before CAD
Full-scale paper models answer questions that clean screens tend to hide.
For enclosures, I cut the first version from cereal-box card. Port locations, hand clearance, cable bends, and visual weight become obvious at full scale.
The model does not need to be accurate everywhere. It only needs to make the important uncertainty physical.
